Our Story

Simple, Comfortable Stays on the Oregon Coast

Pacific View Lodging started nearly a decade ago with a simple idea: build a true coastal getaway and a business that could last. It began with just two vacation rental condos in Lincoln City, Oregon, and grew steadily from there into a collection of properties spread across Depoe Bay and Netarts. Along the way it expanded from vacation rentals into boutique motels and back again, and today that mix is part of the appeal, with classic coastal motels like the Surf Inn, Trollers Lodge, and Whale Inn sitting alongside oceanview vacation homes up and down the shoreline.

Meet the Owners

Bill & Peggy

Pacific View Lodging is owned and operated by Bill and Peggy, who relocated full time from Eastern Washington to the Oregon Coast. They were drawn by the rugged shoreline, the small coastal towns, and the slower pace of life, a place they genuinely love and wanted to share with their guests. The two bring complementary strengths to the business. Bill leads on technology and operations, building and maintaining the systems that keep everything running smoothly. Peggy focuses on service and the small details, making sure every guest stay lives up to expectations. Together they take a hands-on approach, balancing thoughtful growth with the simple, welcoming experience the business was built on.
